| Re: "Off-kilter Oleana: PC fascism is shredded in Mamets gripping but deeply flawed play," by Martin Morrow, Theatre, September 8-14, 2005.
Ive been meaning to compliment Martin Morrow on his review of Oleanna. Despite all the hype about sending folks home arguing, it is a very flawed play (Mamet can't write women characters). It gave me joy to see you point this out. As a Mamet fan, I saw Oleanna in New York City with Mamet directing his wife, and it didn't work there or at ATP. We need critics like you to cut the reviewers crap on such plays so we get to see more good ones.
